Yuri Hoverson

As Able Aerospace’s vice president and general manager, Yuri Hoverson oversees Able’s cross-functional team as one of the world’s leading providers in repair, overhaul, exchange and approved replacement parts for fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft.

With more than 25 years of extensive cross-functional experience, customers appreciate Yuri’s collaborative and innovative approach to finding solutions.

Since joining Able Aerospace in 1999, Yuri has established himself as a collaborative leader. During his tenure, he has held roles in operations, product development and engineering. Prior to assuming the role in 2024, Yuri served as director of engineering and was responsible for developing and implementing new product repairs and product development.

Yuri is a United States Navy veteran. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University, a Master of Science in industrial management from the University of Central Missouri and is certified as a project management professional (PMP). Yuri currently sits on the Arizona State University Polytechnic Industrial advisory board, the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) engineering advisory board, and the Chandler Gilbert Community College Aerospace Accelerator Business & Industry Leadership Team (BILT).
